Faria Beach consists of the homes on the stretch between Solimar Beach and Seacliff Colony. Most of the homes are on the old PCH, with the northern section in a gated area. Although most Faria Beach homes are right on the sand or water, there are a few homes in this area which are not oceanfront, yet they, too, have private beach access. They also can have great ocean views from their second stories because of the height restriction on the beachfront homes in front of them. There are tennis courts, a playground and a grassy area behind the gates for all homeowners in Faria Beach.
Popular among surfers is the little beach referred to as Mondo’s, known for its consistent small waves. At high tide, much of the beach in Faria is covered as the ocean comes up to the sea walls, and at low tide the kids can enjoy great tide-pooling. Because of the tide-pools, Faria Beach has some extraordinary marine life, shells, and sea glass. This beach offers the right conditions for not only surfing, but also snorkeling, kayaking, and boogie boarding. You can even sit out on your deck and watch the dolphins and whales as you watch the sun set over the Channel Islands.
Next to Faria Beach is Faria Beach Park, an ocean-side campground, and you can even take advantage of a coastal bike path that leads to Santa Barbara one way and Ventura/Ojai the other. Being along the scenic 101, Faria Beach is in a prime location.
Homes in Faria Beach range in price from $1.5m to over $4m.
